In reply to David. Hi David, each of the bulb has an output of 800 lumens, so if you have 3 on at the same time it should be 2400 lumens in total.That's sufficient to light up a small living room. However, you will need other lamps or lights for reading or other detailed tasks.

If I use the bulbs you recommend for the lantern floor lamp, will it give out a lot of light? I don’t want too many lamps in my house, so I’m looking for something that can light up an entire room by itself.

I have one of the wooden tripod lamps and they are absolutely fabulous! Not only do they look great and take up very little floor space, but the shade is really ambient and provides a lot of light to read by. No more eye strain. I’d most definitely recommend that one as well 🙂
