If you love reading a lot, then ebooks are the best pick for you. Their lightweight & portability feature makes it easy to carry them anywhere. You can save a lot of money and time using an e-book reader. Thanks for sharing this information. I will share it with my friends too, so they can know the pros and cons before selecting an e-reader platform.

I would like to have folders and subfolders and also be able to label the books in different categories.

Thanks!

Hi Opsy, thank you for your feedback. That was just an oversight by our editing team and has been updated. We strive to provide objective reviews of all of the ebook readers in this guide.

I supposed that the files supported was not a parameter to take into account for the reviewer. But later on I read that lack of kindle support is a con for Kobo devices!
Really? Not supporting a PROPIETARY format is a con for the kobo and not supporting a OPEN format is not for the kindle?
I reviewed if there was any comments about that and yes, there are a pair of comments about that… and the editor replies with a different topic! (audiobooks, amazon store…))
Is this objectivity?
And yes, I know that you can use third party tools to convert files… but native file support is still a very important feature. A review that not takes into account this lacks in quality and, given the result of the reviews, in objectivity I fear.

I just sent back that Paperwhite 2018 10th gen. to Amazon. Paperwhite you cannot add Apps to so basically you are stuck with Amazon books. That is a huge ‘con’.
Nook does not have audio capacity. I don’t know about the others, all I know is I am looking for a reasonably priced device.
What I would like to see is a manufacturer make an electronic reader that accepts all public library types of files for eBooks and eAudiobooks in addition to what can be purchased and what you can find anywhere across the web to download…..
Thank You for the article

Kevin, thanks for letting us know about the Kobo Libra H2O photo, we’ll get that fixed.

Regarding points 2 & 3, thanks for sharing your opinions, but our reviews are written for all readers, including those who want their ereader to read audiobooks. We’ll take your feedback into consideration the next time we update this article.

This review was better than most but there are still some flaws :

1.) the picture of the kob libra h20 is not the right kobo model

2.) The website is called ‘Hookedtoobooks’ but somehow says that not being able to play audio books is a downside to the Kobo Libra H20 meanwhile audiobooks are not real books and they are anti-intellectual if you are going blind. Also, your smartphone , which basically everyone has, is a better device for audiobooks than an eReader. An eReader is supposed to mimick a physical book more or less it is not meant to play audio it is not an mp3 player.

3.) It also says another downside of the Kobo Libra H20 is not being able to read Kindle books. Well, this is not technically true if one is willing to strip DRM off a kindle book and use calibre to convert the file. Also, it is a con or downside that the kindle does not use epub not the other way around. The kindle is like an mp3 player that can’t play mp3 files since it does not do epub. Saying it is a downside that you can’t read kindle books on a Kobo Libra H20 is mentally retarded at best.
